Would you like to meet one on one to address the behavioural concerns you are having with your dog? We require an initial consultation for our board and train and private training services. The consultation allows us to evaluate your dog and suggest a customized training plan to meet your needs.
What can you expect to get out of the consultation? We will go through our client info form in person to allow us to get to know you and your dog better. We will then discuss our training methods, discuss how we get results and do a demonstration with your dog or one of our own dogs. We ask that you skip feeding your dog their meal before coming out to the consultation and bring that meal along with you. The consultation takes 1-2 hours.
Our full session is geared towards clients who are just starting out and need us to spend a bit more time going over theory as we implement the hands-on training methods. Full sessions typically consist of discussion of training exercises, hands on demonstrations and an opportunity for clients to practice the training exercises in a controlled environment. We will provide feedback and coaching to ensure that you and your dog establish a clear understanding of the exercises. Full sessions are typically 1.5-2 hours.
Our half session is geared towards returning clients who already have a solid understanding of theory and are working on developing new skills and behaviours with their dogs. Half sessions are great for clients who are working alongside our lifetime membership online training program (Training Dogs Online), or simply need some coaching as a refresher.
All Training Dogs Online clients receive 10% off Private Sessions. For more information on private sessions or to set up a consultation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
